Often, during the IELTS Speaking test and in life as well, we suddenly can't think of what to say. When this happens in everyday life, we admit to this and would use something like:
Sorry, my mind's gone blank...
Sorry, I've just lost my train of thought...
Sorry, I've completely forgotten what I was going to say...
If you learn these phrases, they are not only useful if you can't think of what to say, but also these expressions use complex language and will impress the IELTS examiner. These are great Band 7+ phrases!
